If you’re in the mood for some Sushi and in Stapleton swing by Blue Fin. It’s an underrated place in Denver and you can often find a Groupon online to have a cheap lunch or dinner, which is hard to find when buying sushi in a land locked state. Stapleton gets a bad rap sometimes, people complain that their are children everywhere, well of course there are it’s a family neighborhood and you’ll find some kids on a weekend night at Blue Fin. But you won’t care, you’ll be too busy enjoying delicious raw fish morsels. I’m a huge fan of their 29th Roll, which is Spicy Tuna w/Avocado, Seared Tuna, and Garlic Butter or you can try the Lobster Dynamitel, it’s LObster fried Tempura Style in Dynamite sauce, I have no idea what that is other than tasty. IT’s dy-no-mite!! pardon the play on words, I’m a little punchy today.

If you’d like to try something new and this is the hardest part about sushi restaurants, most feel like they have a variation of the same menu, try the Mussels Rockefeller as an appetizer or to share on the table during dinner. It’s Mussels of course covered Spicy Mayonnaise, Onion, Bread Crumbs, Spinach, and Bacon . It’s really a fantastic dish that’s a lot more tasty than just another roll. We love finding the perfect place to have a bike date and Blue Fin is perfect for us.  You can lock up your two wheel mode of transport right out front and keep an eye on it too from inside or even better on a nice day/night out on the patio and have a quick roll home on the bike safe streets of Stapleton.
